A compact and child orientated curriculum to ensure smooth sailing to he next level. Keeping in mind the overall development of the child, an advanced level in literacy, language and numeracy, apart from subjects like science, creativity, physical fitness, ‘Self and the world around’ etc.are included in the curriculum. At this level we stress on life-skills enhancement and value based education to equip the children to face realities with confidence.

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION DEVELOPMENT

Linguistic and communication development assist in understanding and expressing one's thought and feelings. It builds confidence, help maintain relationships and boost problem solving. Communication also facilitates a base for learning and exchanging meaningful information with others.

PERSONAL, SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Interpersonal Skills

Intrapersonal or Emotional Skills

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

KINESTHETIC AND GROSS MOTOR SKILLS Gross Motor skills enable children to perform daily functions like walking, running, climbing, catching, throwing and jumping. Gross motor movements are from large muscles and whole body movement. Children exposed to more outdoor play time develop better gross motor skills.

THE CONCEPT OF SELF AND SURROUNDINGS

Practical learning encourages children to observe, ask questions, touch, smell and experiment. It gives them a chance to make discoveries on their own and find their own solutions or answers. It helps them to gain knowledge, experience, curiosity and confidence. Enhances language development, thinking, planning and organizing to create awareness of one's self, environment, universe, nations and surroundings.

FINE MOTOR SKILLS

At this level more intricate and finer movements are recommended. Literacy involves the hand, finger and eye coordination promoting self-care and other day to day activities.

COGNITIVE OR INTELLECTUAL SKILLS

Cognitive skills improve ability to focus, recall information, think critically and improve children’s analytic skills.

NUMERACY

Numeracy is recognition of written numbers, shapes, patterns, sizes,time measurement and currency. It is an essential life skill that helps in problem solving, understanding the use of shapes, measures,currency and spatial awareness

LITERACY

First step to literacy is understanding and using language which forms the base for reading and writing. Reading helps to build confidence, improve vocabulary, recognize the written words and help children to become strong communicators.

CREATIVE AND VISUAL ARTS

AESTHETIC SKILLS Creativity helps the child grow emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually which encourages the sharing of thoughts, feelings and ideas. Creativity can be nurtured through art, music and dance. It increases memory, attention and concentration and helps children develop reading skills, excel in math and science, as well as expand vocabulary and new concepts.
